Gear meter with TOF

For the robotised application of glue on car windows, it is necessary to assure a precise dosing control connected to the robot movement. In this case, the customer required and insisted on dosing the adhesive through a gear meter pump system.
The GRACO servo-driven gear meter pump 970-177 was not CE certified for sales in Europe, so the GRACO Certified Design Center for Eastern Europe, MEDIA, with the support of the GRACO egineering team in Minneapolis and technical support team from Maasmechelen, designed and modifed the gear pump and control system and arranged the CE conformity certification for this product.
The supply system for the adhesive stored in 200 l drums was based on completely heated GRACO Therm-O-Flow 200 tandem pumps with fin follower plates, heated hoses and gun communicating with the central line control.
Within several months after installation and commissioning, the satisfaction of the customer resulted in another installation of a GRACO gear pump from MEDIA for robotised quarter windows sealing.
